FUTURE JOB OPPORTUNITIES IN VARIOUS SECTORS
"WE ARE THE POWER OF THE WORLD"
Welcome to the Department of Electrical Engineering. The Department of Electrical Engineering was incepted in the year 2003 with intake capacity of 60 students and is affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal (Formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology). The department has experienced and well qualified faculties who always make great efforts to escalate and encourage the teaching methodology that is both theoretical and practical in approach. The focus of the department is to produce quality and professional engineers to cater the needs of the society. We also foster young talents by disseminating technical trainings to them so that they can take up the challenges of real world. This orientation has led to successful placement of the graduates of the department in various renowned public and private concerns like Indian Rail, Infosys, IBM, Cognizant, Tata Consultancy Services, Indian Army, HCL Technologies, TATA Jusco, Vikram Solar etc.
The Department has well equipped laboratories like Basic Electrical, Electric Circuit Theory, Electrical & Electronics Measurement, Electrical Machines, Power Electronics, Power System, Control System and Project lab to meet the curriculum. The lab facilities are timely upgraded to provide adequate opportunities for the students to learn and innovate.
We also enhance their managerial skills in addition to their technical skills. Expert Lectures, workshops and industrial visits are regularly organized for the students to enhance the practical knowledge and to interact with the recent technologies used in the industries.
